Some doodles from tonight. Jared - of whom I have no drawn in a long time - and a possible new character I may name Alexy. I wanted to create him to fill my lack of psychotic characters.

I feel like I need to redesign Jared so he doesn't remind me of my dumbass angsty past and takes on a form more of his own. The more I think about him lately the creepier he gets. Like how he was -supposed- to be in my mind, not like how he somehow evolved to be ._.

Alexy to me seems like he's going to end up a younger version of this fellow:


Of whom I drew over a year ago >_> oop. He was meant for an RP that never really got anywhere. Just as well, I suppose, I suck at RPs.

Did this awhile ago as part of a watercolor experiment. Just a Chekhele woman. Showing that their wings can be all sorts of colors! This things is about two inches high.

Yet again I let a month go by without much of an update. Oh well. It happens. School starts again and suddenly I have little time to draw. Well, for those who still browse this, like me, here's some new scratches and my usual bloviating concerning them:




This is actually the newest but I like it a lot so I put it on top. The two versions of Axel - Future and Fantasy. I guess it's a pretty boring drawing overall but I wanted to show their minor differences in look. Their personalities are slightly different too, but both have a similar history. I love my Axel so much. ;___;

I guess you can ask me if you actually are interested in their differences.


So I haven't kept up with this thing but meh. It was just to keep me entertained for awhile :| Here's number LXI (61) : Fairy Tale. It made me think of Misha and fairies. I know he's missing his wings but... sometimes they're inconvenient to draw. I like this anyway.


And here's number LXXVIII (78) : Drink. Solais enjoying some hot tea from some traditional Kunhvpanen-style wares. Solais drinks her tea sickeningly sweet, as well.


This was just a little gift to my darlings Liss and Memento because they wanted a icon to use of Memento making the >:3 face.


An Eydnan female hunter (although gender roles are sort of... a given in Eydna there is still plenty of room for transgression of boundaries.) and a small headsketch of Yvonel I liked. Trying to get the right look for her face.



I watched "The Black Cauldron" and was just... taken by the portrayal of Taran. Now, I love me some Lloyd Alexander, but the movie is cute too. I can see much of young Rhys in Taran. So here is my dear young Rhys, wielding a stick like a sword and in too-big boots acting all brave and cool. I like this much better than a previous pic of young Rhys I did. God I can just imagine him getting his real sword for his majority birthday and just... losing it. (in a good way) 8C I'm such a sap.

So I have buttloads and buttloads of homework to do по-русски, so I guess I better start.

Yay!

I've had this blog for almost a year and a half! Woo! Let's celebrate with lots of new arts. All one of us that visits here :D That's ok, I sorta like posting crap just for myself.

I've been trying to sketch a lot.

God I love drawing. When I can get into that groove I feel awesome.

Yeah this is a lot for only a few days. Well, it's called being on winter break and having insomnia. Oh insomnia, I know thee too well.



More cultural story stuff. Rahapurdan, I think I called them. Peoples living in the deep south of Ensanctyse.


I am, indeed, a shark.


Because I just love drawing fishes and weird shit so much. Also, mola-mola fish are the coolest fish in the universe. That is a very sad representation of one.

A small sketch of Axel I really, really liked. I think it's one of the few times I've mangaed to make him look feminine but not girly.

So I'm doing yet another late meme - 100 Themes Challenge. You know, for the lulz and all, because it gets me sketching more I guess? No biggie, I'm not gonna kill myself over it. Anyway, number LXXV (75) Mirror. Awwww Rhys has body issues. He can't grow facial hair to save his life.
