Jessie noted that I don't upload anything really "sketchy" here, everything is sort of polished enough to stand on it's own. *snorts* As if I'm going to publicly upload some of the awful other crap I draw. I try to draw a LOT and of course it doesn't always turn out good enough to show. I have SOME decency :|

I wonder if there is something on these last couple posts I should finish or whatever. I haven't done anything finished in awhile, and since I have so many of these drawings....


Laudon comforting Rhys, somewhat. Laudon takes on a sort of older-brother role for Rhys after a time. I don't know what Rhys is upset about but it's probably something to do with Axel, or his own insecurities.


Moar clothes! A royal Bahmani (the people of Bahmnen) girl. She was fun to draw. They are a somewhat more conservative people. I imagine them shaving the fronts of their heads to look better in those elaborate head-dresses.

lol i should be ashamed of drawing this. it was a size comparison, and also trying to work out how to draw bigger boobs on an older woman >_< Solais is more pear-shaped and Yvonel is more houglass.

lol I remember I said I wasn't going to do anything with that tiger-girl I drew... well I lied. I figured she'd make an awesome character so I named her Purya. She's a sort of spirit-deity of sorts, and very wise and playful. Also a sketch of Amal. I was getting excited over many have a fantasy story about them!! Like India, only with magic and animal people.

Another India-inspired character. Bandhura, a hijra sexworker. She is very very shy and wary, but confident in her decision and tried to help others in her situation. She and Amal might get along, since Amal considers nothing to be profane, and thus a hijra prostitute is just as holy as a Brahmin girl.

o lawd LOOK AWAY PENIS!!! Well I only consider this sorta erotic - sue me. I was experimenting with the ideas of Solais as Earth-Mother and Ivan as Sky-Father... crap!

A cute Renn-faire song is "The Scotsman" about a drunk Scotsman in a kilt who passes out on the street and two girls peek under his kilt and tie a bow on his penis. OK it's sillier in the song, but there was no way I could resist drawing Rhys in this situation.. it fits him so perfectly!!!

Hmmm Theresa said I should make this a full illustration, I just have to figure out what to put in the BG. Rhys, vulnerable and nude, wanting to protect his little sister at all costs.

SO I own a big book of Steve McCurry portrait photography and I was sketching some of the people in it. I was NOT directly copying, just re-drawing the people I saw differently; diff poses, style, etc Just for ethnic and face practice.
This girl is from Gao, Mali. I just loved her hair XD

MAOR PEOPLE oh god I can't stop drawing all these different people. Ronatios fem and a Chekhele fem. Oh god Chekhele women are SCARY. There is very little different between genders in Chekhele people besides the assumed genitalia.

Based off of some ifo I got on warrior queen Boudica, a queen of the Iceni people in first century England who bravely fought the Romans (but lost :C) I imagined something similar for maybe my countries, with a fox-queen-warrior. DON'T ASK ME TO EXPLAIN THESE THINGS I HAVE WEIRD ASSOCIATIONS

:'D Among Misha's favorite things are trees, birds, small creatures, water, hugs and his mama! I bet Misha gives the best hugs ever!


Like most creatures, Axel has a very sensitive tail, and doesn't like it to be pulled and such. Little Misha, however, just wants to show his lvoe for it's fluffyness.


Laudon and Yvonel XD They have a funny relationship. Above - him probably trying to talk her into something, while she's thinking "lol noob" and the bottom is something that ran through my head, with a small story, but it's not really interesting.


Kitteh is totally gettin sick of the female healer image, because goddamnit, medicine is NOT happy sparkly pretty. So next time Yvonel or Solais are elbow-deep in your guts, you better thank the ladies. It sorta looks like Yvonel just slaughtered something XD;; But more likely she just had to do a really messy amputation or something.

I don't know how many more posts I can do before I leave, cos I won't have a scanner in Germany @_@ But obviously, I will still be able to sketch on the computer, it's just that i like sketching in pencil so much better :|

Onto the arts.


I was watching a show on feral children or something, so I wanted to draw a wild girl. And ummm, ghost wolf cos I didn't really have a ref for drawing a wolf. They're hard to draw :C


Again.. I saw something about the rainforests of Borneo and wanted to draw hornbill bird girl. Doesn't really look like one, but it's neat anyway. She needs colorful plumage.


lol little red riding hood and the big bad wolf :C AKA Solais and Nyaro. Nyaro is the stereotypical bad guy who's a red herring and Solais is awesome. And stuff. Right.


Axel can be badass too, he can be pretty serious and icy. His weapons are a huge knife and a bow and arrows. He's a person who is absolutely fiercely loyal and hard when he needs to be.
