I've been in such an art depression for some time now, and I just don't know what to do about it! Been spending a lot of time on ConceptArt.org and so I figured I'd give the speedpaintings thing a whirl.
Yes some of these are done from photo ref. I make no claims to the original. If problems arise I'll remove them immediately. These are just PRACTICE. Not real art.

- sky halos of icey air (yes... these are actual phenomena...)
- the shadow of the earth on the atmosphere...
-sargent copy, "girl from capri", only really fucked up

in short it was:
you = amazing
glory = reminds me of a soft warmth as in old coins and copperplates
landscapes = just as good as in reality *_* I'm fainting over the hills in the purple picture
Yuki-Onna = different. Doesn't give off your usual earthy feel but a more wispy, ghost-like windy one. Especially with the snow, btw I love how it suffocates everything there but a few details. <333
halos = WTF what? *doesn't know anything about them but wants to*
but it looks so typical for you and I love when you do things like that with waves and clouds and whatever.
Actually, this picture almost looks like... water droplets making little circly waves on a super clear water surface in which the sky reflects. SO PRETTY.
Wherever did you find the reference picture for the cute redhead?
